Pre-K Ballet- These classes are designed for children ages 4-6. The focus is on the pre-stages of ballet as well as exercise, rhythm, creative movement, and following dance direction. We hope to begin proper training as well as develop a love for dance in our PreK ballet classes.
Ages 4-6 Tuedays @ 4:00pm Mini- These classes are designed for children ages 3-4. The focus is on the pre-stages of ballet as well as exercise, rhythm, creative movements, and following dance direction. Our mini classes are a great place to start if your dancer is a little unsure about being in a dance class setting and would like to have their mom or dad join them. Ages 3-4 Tuesdays @ 5:00pm Hip-Hop- This class will focus on isolations, musicality, and moving the body in upbeat ways. This class is great for anyone ages 7-12 who wants to move and explore the dancer in themselves in fun and creative ways. Ages 7-10 Tuesdays @6:00pm Jazz- This class will focus on dance technique, style, performance quality, as well as learning the skill of picking up choreography. This class is great for anyone interested in drill teams, cheerleading, dance companies, as well as the recreational dancer. Ages 9-12 Tuesdays @7:00pm Combo- These classes offer two styles of dance to the students in the time span of one class. Class will be split in half focusing on each style for 25 minutes |
Dress Code Pre-k/Mini -Hair in bun or pony if hair is too short -Pink leotard -Pink tights -Pink ballet shoes *Ballet skirt is option in any color Hip hop -hair pulled back in pony -loose fitting clothes -street shoes, preferably clean and without dirt/rocks Jazz -hair pulled back in pony -tight fitting clothes (Leo, leggings, biker shorts, tank top etc) -jazz shoes (tan) |

BIO
Leikin began dance and gymnastics at age ten and has always loved it.
She received her technical dance training at Salt Lake Dance Center in Salt Lake City and Utah Valley University in Orem Utah.
While at Salt Lake Dance Center she was a member of their award-winning competitive dance program as well as their pre-professional Christmas production where she was selected for many lead roles.
For three years, Leikin stayed busy as a cheer captain at Olympus High school. She was also a two-year member of her high school's dance company.
Along with getting a dance degree at Utah Valley University, she earned a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology from the University of Utah.
Leikin has taught dance for fourteen years in ballet, jazz, contemporary, acro, musical theater, modern, lyrical, hip-hop, and tap.
Many of her team competition dances and soloists received top awards at dance competitions and conventions. Her routines have won many best choreography awards, judge's choice awards and consistently placed in the top 3.
One of her most exciting moments as a teacher was when her junior team won Best of Jump in 2018 and was asked to perform in the closing show.
Leikin recently moved to Clovis with her husband Austin, a flight Doctor for the 26th squadron at Cannon Air Force Base. Leikin is excited to continue teaching and to share her love of dance with the students here in Clovis.
